WHO STOLE MIKE'S BASSES?

Low lives, that's who.  Who else?

On Saturday night, June 23rd, 2007, Mike's house was broken into - fortunately he wasn't home.  The [expletives deleted] stole ALL of Mike's basses and some other petty stuff. His 1972 vintage Rickenbacker 4001; his daily beater - the 1983, Pruitt-Customized Fender Jazz Precision Bass, and his hand-built, hand-made, Kevin Brubaker 6-string bass (Serial Number 9802). This has been absolutely devastating for Mike as well as his family (musical as well as blood) and his friends.

If you frequent used guitar shops or pawn shops in the Cayce, West Columbia or Columbia area, PLEASE be on the lookout for these basses. If you happen to see anything or hear anything, please e-mail us right away (mahoney@StillHouseMusic.com).  We know a lot of understanding musicians are out there and you just can't find a Brubaker bass in this area anywhere.

The following pics hopefully will help to identify these precious instruments.  Click on the image for a larger image.
